Biography
I was born in Taxco de Alarcón, Mexico and I came to the US in 1998. I lived in Chicago, where I received my PhD from the University of Illinois at Chicago, until I came to UIUC in 2020.
I am currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese where I give classes on Hispanic Linguistics focusing on bilingualism and code-switching.
