Conference Travel Grant recipients will be invited to present a brown bag talk in the LC lecture series or share their research in other ways with the LC community.

International Travel Insurance Information

For travel commencing on or after July 1, 2026, failure to enroll in international travel insurance will result in reduced or non-reimbursement of travel expenses and possible restrictions on future work-related travel. If the travel was purchased with a university TCard, a noncompliance will be issued to the cardholder.

All system employees traveling internationally on system business must enroll in international travel insurance using the applicable university-based travel and coverage website. It is the responsibility of each individual employee to ensure insurance enrollment for their travel.

Application information should be submitted using the Travel Grant Form. A Google sign-in is required to submit this form. Applicants can create a Google account using their @illinois.edu email. A copy should be sent to lemann@illinois.edu
